“birds born in a cage think flying is a disease”

Stage one complete – put the music on as it connects with the message of the tattoo for those criticising me for my choice or by what I do with my money, my time, my body, cause I’m I.N.D.E.P.E.N.D.E.N.T…..

“Birds born in a cage think flying is a disease” – each one of us are entitle to our own opinion, but firstly please get to know the difference between having an opinion and express a judgement of a person(or their acts) and therefore labelling that person (not only me, but anyone). Respect comes above all.

The reasoning behind this tattoo is to express my opinion about how I think society should be more open about things in general, and not labelling what they don’t know or have not experienced before making a judgment of “if it is not good for me, it is not good for you” and therefore labelling that as a ‘disease’. In the drawings, you have the bird escaping the cage, seeing there are other amazing things out there to be experienced: the smells of flowers, the freedom of the sky, from Scotand(thistle) to Brazil(sunflower).

It’s with an open mind approach that you might find the one you love, whether this person is a man, a girl, a trans. Sexual orientation shouldn’t be a label you attach to someone. Love should be equal and respected regardless of gender. The relationship is between(or amongst) those involved, so it’s time to keep our judgment for ourselves.

Love should be something to spread happiness, not hate.
